dc.description.abstract This toolkit includes a few infographics (on pages 4, 5, and 6) that summarize findings of the ACE study and specifics of the study on children in Maine. The statistics show that ACEs are common and that children who experience multiple challenges at home have significantly higher rates of developmental delays, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral concerns. Also, the infographics show the lifetime impact on a person and the economic impact of not addressing ACEs for society. The rest of the report is aimed at healthcare providers and their teams.
