dc.description.abstract The Division of Criminal Justice in the Colorado Department of Public Safety produced this annual report in accordance with C.R.S. 24-33.5-520 to highlight trends in impaired driving court cases and their toxicology. This report examined data from court cases filed in 2019 and illustrated themes from the 2016-2019 data. Citations for impaired driving In 2019, there were 26,165 court case filings, or 563 court case filings per 100,000 residents aged 16 and older. From 2016-2019, case filings have remained stable with only a 4% drop in filings. en_US
