Abstract:
This report explores the issue of “domestic violence related homicide” in Asian and Pacific Islander families in the United States, analyzing data from a total of 160 cases of domestic violence related homicides in this demographic occurring from 2000-2005. The report analyzes different types of homicide related to family relations, including overlap with suicide, method of homicide, relationship types between perpetrator and victim for each case, and demographic categories such as age, gender, and ethnicity. Finally, the report analyzes demographics of victims and perpetrators. (CVRL Abstract)
