dc.description.abstract Compared to the amount of work devoted to understanding the relationship between gang membership and offending, much less is known about the ways in which gang members experience crime victimization. Therefore, this study builds upon recent work that examines the gang-victimization link, and examines the effects of social disorganization among a sample of gang and non-gang prison inmates…Results indicate that crime perpetration was an influential factor for affecting the relationship between perceptions of social disorganization and victimization among gang members.
