The following are the results from a survey recently conducted by the Identity Theft Resource Center on Facebook user beliefs and behaviors. The purpose of this survey was to determine the mindset of consumers in relation to concerns about identity theft (in particular, financial identity theft) and Facebook usage. The study also looked at the consequences suffered by users who had previouslyexperienced Facebook account takeover. (Author Text) |
