This record links to the full recording of the CVR July 2019 webinar; see also the webinar slides in CVR Library with the same name and the full report, "Specialized Residential Placements for Child Trafficking Victims 2019." Northeastern University, Children's Advocacy Center of Suffolk County, and National Center for Youth Law collaborated to produce a landscape analysis of specialized residential placements for child trafficking victims across the United States. They found that specialized programs shared some components: comprehensive child trafficking and trauma-informed training, multidisciplinary team (MDT) response, mostly small physical space, individually tailored services and empowerment, and protocols related to safety. The presenters emphasize that this survey only captures existing services and does not summarize "best practices," as there is not yet enough research to know which practices are "best."
